Originally from Washington, NC, John graduated from East Carolina University in 1974. He was in the clothing business for three years before moving to the coast, engaging in the commercial fishing and wholesale seafood sales. Moving to the Outer Banks in 1981, John began his career in real estate sales. He joined Twiddy & Company in 1993. Throughout his career he has been very active in the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS, being elected REALTOR of the Year in 1987 and President in 1995. He concentrates on property sales in Duck, Corolla, Nags Head, and Colington Island. He specializes in waterfront properties.
