About Edith Rowe
Born on the Outer Banks, Edith graduated from the College of the Albemarle in 1998. After exploring the local job market, her interest in a career in real estate took hold. Bolstered by her love of the area and wanting to live at the beach near her family, she quickly went on to earn her sales' and broker's licenses. Edith has been with Twiddy & Company since 2000, and she joined forces with Heather in 2003. Now an integral part of the Matchmaker Team, Edith possesses a unique understanding and familiarity of the area and brings to the table a degree of local sales acumen found in few agents. Having completed construction on her Southern Shores home a few years ago, Edith has first hand knowledge of Outer Banks construction. Her father has been a contractor on the Outer Banks since the 1970s and shares his knowledge. Edith is an avid runner, and she completed her first full marathon in 2007. She and her husband recently welcomed their first child, a little boy they named Winston.
Pacesetting producers from the start, the Matchmakers have averaged over $13 million in sales annually since 1996. Years 2000 and 2001 saw sales figures jump to $15 million, respectively, 2002 and 2003 topped over $25 million each year, and 2004 and 2005 broke all records at sales over $30 million.
